In a festive atmosphere, the celebratory award ceremony for the top graduates of all study cycles for the 2023-2024 Academic Year took place on Monday, December 23, 2024, in the packed Conference Hall of the University of Piraeus. The awards were presented by the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michail E. Sfakianakis.
During the "Academic Excellence Awards" ceremony, outstanding graduates of the Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence were also honored, including Mr. Petros Kafkas, Mr. Orestis Kotrotsios, Ms. Tatiana Boura, and Mr. Andreas Sideras.
As Rector Michail Sfakianakis highlighted in his address to the award recipients:
"The University of Piraeus is proud of you because you represent in the best possible way what we strive to achieve. I wish for this excellence to guide and follow you throughout your career."
For the academic year 2023-2024, as in every academic year, the Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence also recognized its top postgraduate students, Mr. Christos Foukanelis and Mr. Konstantinos Vytiniotis, who excelled during the first and second semesters of their studies, respectively.
These achievements exemplify the commitment of the University of Piraeus and the Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence to excellence and research in the most tangible and meaningful way.
The program congratulates the awardees on their well-deserved distinction. It is equally proud of all its students and graduates and wishes them every success in their scientific and professional careers.
