It is announced that, in accordance with the Study Regulations and the decisions of the Special Interdepartmental Committee (SIC) of the Joint Postgraduate Program, the process of selecting and/or commencing thesis projects for the 3rd semester of studies begins during the 2nd semester of the current academic year.
The process begins with the announcement of the thesis topics to the students and, in summary, is as follows:

Announcement of topics by instructors during the spring semester of the academic year.

Presentation of topics and thematic areas of the theses by instructors to the students during the spring semester of the academic year.

Submission of thesis proposals by students by the end of the 2nd semester (July), on a specific deadline that is announced following a decision of the SIC (within July of the respective academic year).

Review of thesis assignments to instructors and approval of proposals by the SIC during the first week of the opening month of the 3rd semester (September).
Note: Based on a decision of the SIC of the Joint Postgraduate Program, each instructor may supervise up to a maximum of 30% of the total number of students for thesis preparation. -
Assignment of thesis projects by students and instructors.

Submission of progress report by the student and presentation of progress by the students before the 3-member committee every two months, except in exceptional and special cases as defined by the regulations (e.g., suspension of studies).

Presentation and possible revision or grading of the thesis project.
